ISRAEL'S 'FUTILE GESTURES'

Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to extend well-wishes on the occasion of Id al-Fitr, the Muslim holiday marking the end of Ramadan.
He did so despite the fact that Abbas continues to shun negotiations with the Jewish state and again has threatened to pursue a unilateral declaration of Palestinian statehood at the UN General Assembly in September.

Netanyahu’s “goodwill gesture” reportedly was followed by similar phone calls to Abbas by Israeli envoy Yitzhak Molcho and Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak. Molcho also called PA Prime Minister Salaam Fayyad.
The calls came on the heels of other goodwill gestures made by Israel over the last few months aimed at coaxing the Palestinians back to the negotiating table; including, but not limited to:

1. The issuance of thousands of additional Israeli work permits to Palestinian laborers;
2. The advance to the PA on the eve of Ramadan of approximately NIS 200 million in levies collected by Israel on behalf of the Palestinians so that government salaries could be paid;
3. The signing of an economic accord with the PA in order to enhance trade;
4. The signing of a deal to end a hunger strike by Palestinians jailed in Israel, in which Israel even agreed to allow convicted terrorists to pursue academic studies;
5. The tabling of an offer, confirmed by PA Minister of Prisoner Affairs Issa Qaraqe, to release in four stages 125 Palestinian security prisoners, many of whom were convicted of murdering Israelis (the proposal was summarily rejected by Abbas, who demanded the prisoners be released simultaneously);
6. The transfer to the PA of the bodies of approximately 90 deceased terrorists, whose remains subsequently were glorified en masse in official ceremonies.

YOUR MONEY OR YOUR LIFE

I have placed life and death before you, a blessing and a curse, you shall choose life so that you will live… to dwell on the land that I swore to your forefathers (to your fathers and grandfathers) and to Abraham, Isaac and to Jacob.” (Deut. 29-30)

Looking at the world today I think back to the words of Charles Dickens, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us…” When I first read those words in high school, I believed that they were far removed from the rest of my life. America was in a simpler place. My only serious question was why wouldn’t Sandy Koufax pitch the first game of the World Series … after all was Yom Kippur really that big a deal and it wasn’t like he wore a kippah and kept kosher. It was a time when questions hadn’t been asked yet and didn’t need to be answered. Today has caught up with yesterday.

For me, years before my Bar Mitzvah, I remember the words on our Day of Atonement. Words when secular Jewish friends of mine only came to synagogue one day a year – would show up on Yom Kippur to hear– “who will live and who will die…” The profundity of that one line and its finite reality, its focus, its simple yet unambiguous statement… is a statement that few Jews can turn away from or forget. The gift we have been given is the gift of time – money comes, money goes, our days are moments as part of an eternity that we are only blessed to know for a very short time.

ISRAEL'S CHARACTER FLAWED LEADERSHIP

of attrition that Boobi acquiesces in...."

At every stage of the conflict -- except for times before election --
Boobi Netanyahu has shown in his important acts that he is a true
believer in the Arabs as partners to Israel's ultimate peace.

Note that before every election Israelis heard Boobi's silver tongue
going on record as backing uncompromising, hard line programs
to beat back the designs of the Arab enemy. Yet, when in office, he
consistently betrayed these right wing preferments.

800 POUND GORILLA IN THE ROOM

What supporter of Israel can have confidence in the Jewish State if
up to this date the country refuses to recognize the reality of the
800 pound gorilla in the room, that the Arab goal is to destroy
Israel?

In that context, it is evident that the Arab enemy uses negotiations
only as a means to further that deadly goal. That enemy tactic has
worked splendidly for the Arabs, giving them a steady stream of step
by step Israeli surrenders without the Arabs themselves having to make
a single concession to Israel.

It is not reassuring to contemplate that Israel remains in a perpetual
strategic fog, unable to recognize the deadly aim of its Arab
adversary. Failing to recognize this, Israel continually rejects
decisive action against the enemy since it fears an angry Arab
reaction that will foreclose what is the delusional possibility of a
peace agreement.

ANOTHER ARAB RUSE IN THE MAKING?

Learning from reports that Israeli governments have been in communication with
Arab leaders, who are reported as desiring peace -- now where have I heard that
before? -- is not any report that I can be hopeful about. I certainly don't trust the
Arabs and certainly not Israeli leaders who, time and again, are led on the basis
of Arab promises to drop Israel's guard.

After all, did not old Yassir promise the leftist negotiators and Rabin that he wanted
peace? And what happened? On the basis of Yassir's encouraging words, Israel
brought that terrorist and his whole terrorist Arab army back to Israel, set them
up in control of enclaves and gave them all kinds of Israeli aid, so that they could
strike against Israel, producing intifadas and dead and maimed Israelis galore.

MORE ILLUSIONS: VICTORY THROUGH SURRENDER

Paul Gross in his recent article, "If we don't act, they will," -
JPost -12.28.10) advocates appeasing the Arab side in the hope of
attaining peace for Israel. In this, he is continuing a policy that
has moved Israel downhill for decades after the 1967 War -- all for
the sake of the illusion that the Arabs want peace and are willing to
accept an Israel that they think they can destroy. Gross imagines that
these appeasements which have weakened Israel will win Israel friends
when experience shows they do not.

PREEMPTION OR DESTRUCTION
Which Should Israel Choose?

Israel has been swept with Arab violence and terrorism since the late 19th century. Israeli Prime Ministers have tried but failed to stem the tide. Ariel Sharon, well know for his tough tactics in quelling terrorism in Gaza in the 70's, has also failed.

Back in 1965, in a small meeting room in Tel Aviv, former Defense Minister Moshe Dayan gave a pep talk to a group of RAFI (Rishimat Poalai Israel) volunteers, myself included. At that time, RAFI, a breakaway faction of the Mapai Party, included such notables as former Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and former Defense Minister Shimon Peres. Peres and Dayan had been considered the "hawks" of Mapai and it was no accident that in the 1965 election they supported a strong defense and security policy.

Dayan was always interesting to listen to, but this talk was something special and we paid attention to every word. "The essence of Israel's security in this region (Middle East) is deterrence," he said. "When we formed the State in 1948-9, we were very weak. The Arab States had planes, tanks, heavy artillery and many more soldiers than us.

We had very little heavy military equipment. In the period 1949-55, we absorbed almost a million immigrants. Tent cities sprung up all over the country. We were totally disorganized. Had the Arabs mounted another major invasion, we could have lost. We devised a solution to this problem. It was deterrence. Think about being lost in a forest and surrounded by hostile animals. If you light a torch, boldly approach them showing no fear -- they will retreat. But, if you show fear -- they will attack and you are lost. We used this principle to save Israel during those early years. Every time we were attacked, we retaliated ten fold. We showed daring and penetrated deep within their borders to attack our targets. We were fearless, brave, and even a bit bloodthirsty. You know the result. The Arabs were afraid and never attacked. Deterrence worked. By 1956 when we invaded Sinai, the Israel Defense Force was not just strong, it was invincible."

GAZA INVASION ARMADA

Reports indicate that another sea armada of perhaps more than 10 ships will sail from the Syrian port of Latakia where it has been docked for the last 12 days. The main ship in (what they call) the "Viva Palestina" convoy has 380 ‘activists’ from 42 countries, 147 vehicles and $5 million in medical aid. Their declared mission is to break Israel’s arms blockade of Hamas in Gaza. [Latest news: One ship has already docked in Egypt as of Sunday October 17th.]

These so-called ‘activists’ are what Vladimir Lenin called “useful idiots” who were carrying the Communist Manifesto. Today’s “useful idiots” are the Islamic sympathizers who are ready to be used by Hamas and Hezb’Allah.
To view their "real" purposes, look at their own ‘diary’ (listed below - footnote #1) of the propaganda parade through 3000 miles by land, and the rallies held at each stop. If you can tolerate the full onslaught of their propaganda, their own diary is quite damning.

The propaganda campaign that Gaza Muslim Arab Palestinians under Hamas rule have been deprived of food and medicine has been disproved by foreign eye-witnesses, still and video photographs of the Gaza markets full of food, the water parks, the villas and other luxurious living of the "poor Palestinians". The only purpose of Israel’s legal blockade of Gaza to incoming foreign ships is to deny Hamas the free-flow of major weaponry. However, weapons coming from Syria and Iran continue to be smuggled in through hundreds of tunnels starting in Egypt’s Sinai Desert.

MUSLIMS ATTACK JEWS; JEWS NOT ALLOWED TO ACT IN SELF-DEFENSE

The Muslim Arab Palestinians in Jerusalem grow bolder in their attacks on Jewish civilian drivers, men, pregnant women – even children and those who are simply strolling. However, the Police, under the orders of Israel’s current Defense Minister, Ehud Barak, arrest the first Jewish victim they see at the scene.

The Arab Muslims accept this encouragement as permission to attack Jews whenever they wish, knowing that Barak, Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the Leftist Courts as well as the Leftist Media will side with them.
Perhaps a time will come when the Quislings in the Israeli government will be kicked out and a Peoples’ Court will be established to try them for their crimes against their own people.
I recall an old saying during the years of the Muslim Ottoman Turks’ rule who treated the Jews cruelly. The saying of that time goes: “Kill a Turk and take a rest.” The message, I suppose, was: “Don’t harm me and I won’t harass you.”

But, those evil times are returning as the Arab Muslims take the place of the Turkish Muslims. Regrettably, although the Jews have returned to the Land of their Patriarchs and Matriarchs, many of our own leaders plead for mercy from the very Arab Muslims whom they had to fight and beat in seven wars and continual, ongoing Terrorism.
Granted, not all Jewish leaders sniveled, whined and apologized for living and daring to live and fight back.

Now, too many of these Jewish leaders play the role models of a beaten people, instead of standing tall as honest victors in a sea of Jew-hating Muslim Arabs. They instruct the Police to harass Jews – especially if they are forced to defend themselves – even against Muslim Arab lynch mobs.

Israel’s soldiers have been made fearful of defending themselves with lethal force lest the corrupt and biased Leftist Courts put them on trial for acting in self-defense and defense of their countrymen, women and children who are endangered.

MY PRAYER FOR ISRAEL ROSH HASHONA 5771

As I survey the fragile planet we call home, my mind makes note of the chaos, blood, and tears. The cries of a million lost souls shatter the night in a million corners of the earth. The sensitive, compassionate among them try to feed the hungry, heal the sick, clothe the naked. One by one their energies dissipate. They try to hold back the tide with a teaspoon and then see the impossibility of the task. The Jewish people are but a cosmic speck in this universe. To many Jews who feel deeply about their own people, that speck becomes the whole world. Other Jews are irrevocably tied to non-Jewish pursuits.

May we as a people open our eyes and begin to see the world as it really is. Without becoming depressed and morose, we must realize that there are powerful forces in the world that wish us ill. May we mobilize our strength to fight our enemies until they are defeated. May we not succumb to false prophets of peace. We all want peace. We pray for peace in our Sabbath services every Friday night.

After thousands of years, being victims of persecution, expulsion, extermination, and discrimination, it is natural that we yearn for peace with every ounce of our bodies and souls. It is because our hunger for peace is so strong that we must be doubly cautious not to fall for a pseudo-peace.

Today none of us believe Chamberlain really negotiated "peace in our time" with Hitler. Why do some Jews believe that Peres and Rabin really negotiated "peace" with Arafat, one of today's Hitlers? The Jewish people must learn the value of unity in the face of so many enemies who wish them ill.

ISLAM, THE FALSE MASK OF RELIGION

Religion, when taught and practiced with restraint and decency, is a valuable – ever irreplaceable – guide for humankind.
However, when a specific religion teaches its children to hate and kill, then it cannot be defended as a religion. Then it is a “blood/death cult”, practicing child abuse on their own children.

History is replete with confirmed accounts of nations and their particular religion being used as a reason for conquest, looting the victim society, forced conversion of the conquered society and, finally, mass extermination of all those who resist.
Some self-anointed religions are merely pagans who worship idols and gods whom their Priest Cult interprets as the wishes of their panoply of gods. The only limitations on their practices would be the creative imaginations of their Priest Cults. Human sacrifice was common then and, strangely, it last into present time.

The Significance of Allahu Akbar

Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army psychiatrist, while shouting Allahu Akbar (Allah is great) murdered twelve people and wounded twenty-one inside Fort Hood in Texas on Thursday, November 5, 2009. Fox News interviewed a “criminal profiler” who asserted definitively that this attack had nothing to do with religion. Some people suggested he had post traumatic stress syndrome, apparently they didn't know he had never served in combat. NPR and the Washington Post said his motive remains unclear.
Muslims have a long history of committing atrocities to the cry of Allahu Akbar. When the Muslim Turks took children away from their infidel parents to make them into soldiers for Allah, their mothers and sisters would desperately follow the horsemen who would drive them away with whips with loud cries of Allah.

When the PLO occupied Lebanon they massacred the Christians there. Bat Ye'or in her book Eurabia wrote about one of the massacres as follows:
An eyewitness gave an account of the massacre of 582 Christians in Damur by the PLO and its Muslim allies on January 22, 1976: "The attack took place from the mountain behind. It was an apocalypse. They were coming, thousands and thousands, shouting 'Allahu Akbar! God is great! Let us attack them for the Arabs, let us offer a holocaust to Mohammad!' And they were slaughtering everyone in their path, men, women and children."

When EgyptAir co-pilot Gamil Al Batuti was alone in the cockpit in Oct 31, 1999 of FLIGHT 990 he shut off the autopilot and the engines and put the aircraft into a steep dive, all the while intoning:
Allahu Akbar.

The Boeing 767 broke up in midair and crashed into the ocean off Nantucket Island, killing all 217 souls aboard (Allah is the Greatest worldnetdaily 7/31/04).

[Freeman Note: We watched and found it tragic, how the media and political figures bent over backward not to mention the Islamic connection. As far back as 1968, with the assasination of Robert Kennedy, I wrote about this as anti-Israel terrorism. No one published my story.]

NIDAL MALIK HASAN MASSACRE AT FORT HOOD - WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Is there any doubt that G-d is fulfilling the promise He made to Avraham: "I will bless those who bless thee and curse those who curse thee." ?

Has President Barack Obama brought this promised curse to America as he bonds with radical Islamists and attacks Israel on their behalf? Muslims in America are a dangerous element in our nation, despite the political dance, firstly by President George W. Bush and now by President Barack Hussein Obama to assure us that Muslims and Islam are perfectly safe for Americans.

Did today’s November 5th massacre at Fort Hood, Texas prove that wrong? The shooter was named as Major Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim psychiatrist who objected to being posted to either war in Iraq or Afghanistan. Reportedly, Hasan killed 11 and wounded 31 with 2 handguns - at a soldiers’ collection point and processing center for those being organizing to leave for either front or returning stateside and being processed.
For the first several hours it was reported that Hasan had been killed in the shoot-out, but later reports say he was shot multiple times but, HE IS SAID

ASSIMILATION OF AMERICAN JEWS CAN BE CURBED

For centuries Jews have been subject to bigotry, i.e., misojudaic prejudice, often associated with violence that ranged from arson, molestation and pogroms to the Holocaust. Yet the Jewish nation survived in a grueling Diaspora. But later, once Jews were fully emancipated, many of them assimilated, and the Jewish nation lost many individuals. People born to Jewish parents have denied their heritage, joining subcultures that disregard ethnicity or religion but still hate Jews. This process is ongoing in American Jewry, especially among its younger, most productive members.

The older generation, including Holocaust survivors, who are the majority of synagogue attendees, is not likely to abandon Judaism. However, their sons and daughters seem to assimilate in droves. Unlike in 19th Century Germany, assimilation of American Jews is not by conversion to Christianity but by joining transnational “progressive” political movements that despise Jewish nationalism. Giving up the national rights of Jews is not better than giving up the Jewish religion. A substantial number of the Jews who voted for Barack Obama in 2008 are assimilated transnationalists.

REDEEMING THE TEMPLE MOUNT

Back in 1993, I started inviting people to explain the significance of rebuilding the Temple Mount in Jewish history and its affect on the World. Rabbi Moishe Traxler was very helpful in explaining to me the Lubavitch position regarding the rebuilding of the Temple. They very clearly prohibit any activity on the Temple Mount until the coming of the Messiah. The Israeli Consul General (Houston) Meir Romem was quick to tell me about the horrible international consequences of attempting to rebuild the Temple.

Others, including Rabbis of great note, told me the rebuilding of the Temple would require the introduction of animal sacrifices. A friend, a vegetarian and animal rights activist, was horrified by such a prospect. All the myths were refuted. Rambam explained that animal sacrifice is not necessary if the Temple is rebuilt. He talked about a process of REDEMPTION. First regain control of the Temple Mount.

INTRODUCTION

In 1934, Harry W. Freeman, my grandfather, was already lecturing about the dangers of Hitler and Nazism. Nobody listened. The Holocaust was not prevented. Today, in 2009 there are 1.9 billion Arab & Moslem people who plan a second Holocaust against the Jews of Israel and the world. The governments and people of Europe not only acquiesce but actively aid in this genocidal plan through diplomatic and material support. The American State Department encourages the Arabs by actively striving to weaken Israel’s strategic and military superiority. Their first stage is to use the so called “peace process” to weaken Israel and strip it of its strategic territories. They are being aided by the same hypocrites and accomplices in the West who failed to aid the Jews of Europe in their darkest hour. Unfortunately, even left-wing Israelis have fallen victims to the seductive lure of peace and have begun a policy of appeasement similar to that tried with Hitler. The results will be no different.

The Arab propaganda full of slanders and libels; the media bias against Israel replete with double standards and the rewriting of history are all working to the same end: the de-legitimation of Israel. Israel is the only country considered by many to be GUILTY OF ORIGINAL SIN by virtue of its very existence. This process of de-legitimation has as its goal creating a world climate in which the DESTRUCTION of Israel is acceptable. Many in the Jewish community are either apathetic or fail to recognize this threat. Fortunately the Jews have new allies in the Evangelical Christian Community and in the Hindu community that has suffered Moslem depredations for about1400 years.

A TROJAN HORSE

The letters today in the Wall Street Journal (8.26.09) commenting on
Sam Bahour's earlier article (8.26.09) scarcely do justice to the
issues these letters raise.

NO ROOM FOR ERROR

STOP AHMADINEJAD’S PLANNED NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST

We have just heard President Barack Obama plead with the Mullahs of Iran to "just dialogue with us and we Americans will "kiss" you with so much respect that all will be forgiven". Perhaps Obama with his extraordinary lack of experience and plentiful naivete has overlooked Europe’s kissing up to Iran for more than 30 years.

Nevertheless, the U.S. cannot allow the Mullahs to control the Gulf Oil States and the Saudi oil fields. Arabists in the Washington loop, including the State Department, many of the 16 U.S. Intelligence Agencies, such as the advisory NIC (National Intelligence Council) , ‘et al’ do not wish to tweak Islam’s nose by having the U.S. strike Iran’s nuclear infrastructure first. To view the sites where Iran has scattered its various nuclear R&D plants, see the map in the August 2008 National Geographic Magazine which shows these sites in plain view.

Knowing that Israel will be one of the Mullahs first targets, according to the frequent proclamations of Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, all of the above assumes that Israel will be forced into a live-or-die strike at Iran’s nuclear facilities.

THE ARAB ADVANTAGE

In Israel's struggle for existence, the Arabs have a great advantage:
The Arabs know full well that they want to destroy Israel, root and
branch, but Israel's ruling elites refuse to recognize this. As a

The situation truly resembles lambs bargaining with jackals and

seize them by the throat. Such peaceful offers, of course, avail not
in the nature of the case -- the case of Israeli lamb bargaining with

ELLIOTT ABRAMS AND THE PATH OF UNREALISM

Elliott Abrams in the March 2 issue of The Weakly Standard -- "THE
PATH OF REALISM OR THE PATH OF FAILURE: Laying a foundation
for peace in Palestine" -- pushes for what is actually a policy of Israeli
surrender. The so-called realistic path he urges on Israel is to
continue Bush's original 2002 policy to establish a Palestinian state
on Israel's lands. When Bush surprisingly announced that policy, he
also slandered Israel as the "occupier" of lands that allegedly belong
to a mythical "Palestinian people." This was a "people" unknown prior
to 1967 and unmentioned in UN Resolution 242 in that year and whose
fraudulent claims on Israel's lands Bush would have Israel honor. In
fact, these are very lands that were set aside as a homeland for the
Jewish people by the League of Nations in their Mandate of Palestine.

YALE LECTURE ON ISRAEL

On 1.22.09, I attended a lecture at the Yale Institute for
Interdisciplinary Studies (YIISA) and had the privilege of hearing a
real live Israeli news correspondent give his views of the situation of
Gaza, the history leading up to it, and the likely Israeli reaction at
the polls in February. The speaker concluded that most probably
Netanyahu will come to power, but opined that he is not far from Livni
in his views.

The speaker, a fine looking young man, stressed how close in views the
so-called left of Israel is from the so-called right, how it was that
supposedly right wingers in office have been the ones that put into
orbit many of the programs advocated by the left, including the many
so-called peace processes, as though these failed programs were the
ones that had been most right. The speaker stressed that Israel seeks
peace with the Arabs and that he believed that eventually there will
be peace.

As we watch the horror unfold, information just released indicates that the Muslim Terrorists rented rooms at the Chabad Nariman House, posing as Malaysian students. That would also entail smuggling in weapons, explosives, grenades for pre-positioning.

No doubt, the same technique was used to infiltrate the hotels. Then they could reconnoiter best entrances and exits.

Recall how long and difficult it was for the Indian Commandos to find the Terrorists? Many of the Police First Responders and the Commandos were killed in the ambush with interlocking fields of fire.

After all, I’m used to the Foggy Folks doing such things as fighting President Truman over his supporting Israel’s very rebirth; concocting latter day Arafatian Fatah “good cops” to force down Israel’s throat (knowing that on the issue of a permanent Jewish Israel, Abbas’s boys totally agree with the Hamas “bad cops”); demanding that Israel itself supply weapons to Fatah--which has as much, if not more, Jewish blood on its hands than Hamas--only to see such things as yeshiva students later massacred as a result; setting up equivalency standards whereby murderer and those in pursuit are placed on the same moral plane; and so forth.

The Arabists who wield too much say at Foggy Bottom have played such games for well over a half century now.

ASSASSINATION? A GOOD IDEA?? - SOMETIMES

Perhaps you recall a series of 5 movies starring Charles Bronson called "Death Wish" starting in 1974. His daughter was raped and then killed herself, fleeing her tormenters. Bronson, as Paul Kersey a well-known architect, began a mission of vengeance. He had a hand gun and roamed places like Central Park in New York City where thugs frequently decided he was an easy ‘mark’ to be mugged, robbed or killed. He shot them dead. Soon New York’s murders, robberies and rapes declined and the people were delighted. (So were the Police, although they couldn’t say so.)

I was thinking about this after I read about a Jewish, kippah-wearing boy, 17 year old Rudy Haddad, walking in a Jewish quarter, the 19th district of Paris on June 21st. Rudy was attacked by 15-30 "African immigrants". No one ‘said’ they were Muslims. They beat him with iron bars and fractured his skull. He has just awakened from a coma. This horror story has NOT been covered in the mainstream media. (See the article from Phyllis Chesler below.)
In January 2006 Ilan Halimi was brutally tortured for 3 weeks by gangs of African Muslim immigrants, along with the neighbors in Paris. He finally died on February 13, 2006. 19 of the gang are facing trial for his torture and murder.
What justice it would be to wander the streets of Paris, with an automatic weapon, looking like a vulnerable Jew and simply kill any and all who came to assault a Jew. No arrests - just seeming executions.

Laws are evolved by civilized people for civilized people - NOT for murdering thugs, especially those who believe their religion needs the fresh blood sacrifice of their victims. Muslims in France and England have invaded and brought with them the hate of their teachings in Islam. I speak of thugs and street gangs who look for victims, particularly Jews, to savagely beat and kill. Charles Bronson’s screen vigilante’s solution was fast and simple. No pity; no courts; no arrests - just kill them as they come at you. Their rules are No Pity, so let all play by their rules.

The news, recently, has been filled with revelations about Barack Hussein Obama, otherwise known as the man who would be President. Of course, I have been calling him the Manchurian Candidate-in-waiting for months. It’s nice that the national news media has started paying attention to the very dubious and sinister background of this man. Heaven knows how this will play out.

People have become so dumbed down. I called an Israeli friend of mine who has been expounding on the glories of Obama since the first of the exposés of the Presidential candidate hit the evening news. I said, “See! I told you so! The man is dangerous and not to be trusted.” Her answer was, “I still think him a wonderful man. I know that you’re from Atlanta and people from the South feel differently about black people.” I shouted back, “It’s not a black thing! It’s a character thing! It’s about standards! Do you really want a President of the United States who has conversations three times a week with Rev. Al Sharpton and who has to go on FOX News to defend himself?"

OLMERT’S PLAN OF "ONE STATE" for all its Peoples

The following may make sense to those who studied Israel’s evolvement since 1948. I could go back further but, this is to be an article and not a 600 page book.
Every indication demonstrates that Israel’s Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, his entourage and the corps of the Left started out with the idea of a "Two-State Solution" by evacuating Judea, Samaria and those parts of Jerusalem occupied and desecrated by Jordan for 19 years from 1948 to 1967. Jordan annexed Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem - illegally - a move recognized by only Great Britain and Muslim Pakistan.

The ill-gotten concept of a "Two-State Solution" gained form in the early 1980s when Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres started to confer (illegally) in the early 1980s with the father of today’s "Jihadist" Terrorism, Yassir Arafat, to drive the Jews out of the territories Israel liberated in the 1967 Six Days’ War. Arafat, Rabin and Peres wanted the Jews to turn over all housing, farms, infrastructure, water, electric grids, roads, etc. to the incoming Arab Muslim Palestinians who were to be ejected from Jordan, Syria, Iran and Lebanon into vacated territory. That same plan remained under Oslo and is now extended under the "Road Map" for Judea, Samaria and those parts of Jerusalem illegally occupied by Jordan, only recognized by Great Britain and Muslim Pakistan.

This was in the belief that the Arab Muslims could be pacified with assets built by the Jews and taken from the Jews, including their ancient G-d given Land. This was an unproven idea merely thought up by Peres, Yossi Beilin and various Leftist academics which was sold to Yitzhak Rabin. This was mostly pre-Olso but it morphed into the full Oslo Accords, negotiated in secret and signed September 13, 1993 on the White House lawn.

subverting Israel, you will see the aforementioned Amalekites of Olmert,

Another team in the forefront of this treachery is Bush, Rice and James Baker III.

To their Left, you will see Saudi King Abdullah, PA ("Palestinian" Authority) President Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen), President Bashar Assad of Syria and other Arab/Muslims - in collusion with the American team.
Trailing behind will be Shas and the Leftist rabble, cheering and waving banners, not understanding that they are "dead men walking" to their grave.

HOW SECURE ARE JEWS IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD?

One of the most significant milestones in Jewish history has recently taken place. The largest Jewish community in the world today lives in Israel. Within about ten years, it is anticipated, that in Israel will live the majority of World Jewry for the first time in 2,000 years.
About 20 years ago I read a book by an author whose name escapes me. The approximate title of the book was, Uncomfortable Questions for too Comfortable American Jews that deeply impressed me. It describes how we Jews have a predilection for avoiding looking at our own situation and the world that we live in realistically. It is for that reason that Jews are continuously looking to help other people, such as those in Darfur and all the other unfortunate Hopttentots of the world, while purposely avoiding to examine the dangers and challenges confronting their own existence. We today face a serious worldwide recrudescence of anti-Semitism, the likes of which has not existed since the 1940's. I firmly believe that we, our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren are confronted with a repeat of the tremulous year of 1938 and the subsequent tragedies that befell the Jewish people. In my opinion our only possible salvation is to strengthen the State of Israel demographically, physically, militarily, and spiritually.
Psychologists claim that between 3 to 1/3 of Jews are so emotionally traumatized by centuries of persecution and discrimination that they reject their own heritage and immerse themselves instead in the culture and problems of other people, even when the latter groups vehemently reject them and pour scorn and abject hatred upon them.

On The Present Danger Facing Israel And All Jews

The entire body of the Jewish people today -- in Israel, in Europe, in America, in Australia and New Zealand, and throughout the world -- is in grave danger. Our very existence as a people and as a faith is in jeopardy. The threat to our survival has two components to it: the external siege being waged against Israel and the Jewish people throughout the world by the international jihadist movement, its sympathizers and appeasers; and the internal siege that we Jews, both in Israel and in the Diaspora, including the United States, are waging against ourselves.

We will look first at the external siege -- war that is being waged against us. It has its military, diplomatic, and ideological-propaganda aspects.

Military threat

On the "military" front (if that is the right word for the front of violence and terror) we have been under constant assault since the signing of the Oslo accords between Israel and the PLO in 1993.

During the past fourteen and a half years the Palestinian Arab terrorists have murdered over 1,800 Israelis, two thirds of them civilians. This is more than the total number of Israelis murdered by the Palestinian Arabs in the forty-four years preceding the "peace accords." Many of the killers have been members of the Palestinian Arab "police force" established with Israel 's consent in Gaza, Judea and Samaria under the Oslo accords. Indeed, Palestinian "police" have murdered three Israelis just over the past month.

For the past seven years, Israeli towns and villages near the border with Gaza have been subjected to rocket attacks; during the past two years, the city of Sderot, with a population of some 23,000, has been bombarded with rockets nearly every day. Its residents have about twenty seconds whenever a warning siren sounds to duck into a shelter. The missiles have killed some people; many more have been wounded; and thousands, including Sderot's children, have suffered shock and trauma.

Egypt, supposedly at peace with Israel, has enabled the Hamas terrorists who control Gaza to move vast amounts of armaments, money and soldiers into this territory, and to transform themselves from a guerilla force into an army able to fight Israel on nearly equal terms. The Israelis have even captured on videotape Egyptian "border guards" helping to smuggle in terrorists.

Then there are the Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon, who killed about 140 Israeli soldiers and 43 civilians in 2006, many of them with long range rockets that struck deep inside the Galilee, including Israel 's third largest city, Haifa. Hezbollah recently struck again with rockets at kibbutz Shlomi. Since the 2006 Lebanon war, Hezbollah has completely rearmed, and now has missiles that can strike at the heart of Tel Aviv.

Standing behind Hezbollah are Syria and Iran. Both of these hateful regimes make no bones about their desire to destroy Israel. Both are armed with chemical and biological weapons, missiles that can reach every inch of Israeli territory, the most advanced fighter jets, and numerous other ultramodern weapons. Both regimes are working at break-neck speed to develop nuclear weapons. This has been thoroughly documented, despite the attempts of the recent "National Intelligence Estimate" to deny this reality.

Bush's State of the Union, 2008, re Israel

People who care about the persistence of Israel as a sovereign Jewish state in which Jews can live, flourish, rule themselves and prosper everywhere must note two aspects of the State of the Union Address read by President George W. Bush on the evening of January 28, 2008. They should alarm and awaken anyone not yet alarmed for Israel and the Divine Providence to which it witnesses.

About two-thirds of the way through the fifty minute address, a series of applause-prompting lines as has become common the past fifteen years, Mr. Bush made several references to “the President of Palestine” noting that he “is a leader with whom the democratically elected leaders of Israel can work toward peace. The “Palestinians” were mentioned several times (this is not new) as if there is such a people and, alarmingly for a State of the Union, their “State,” to be brought into existence “by the end of this year” was greeted by a prolonged standing ovation. There were many standing ovations but few that drew all members of Congress (Supreme Court Justices and the Joint Chiefs of Staff are among other high profile regular attendees) to their feet for lengthy cheers. As the applause mounted and continued, Condoleeza Rice, sitting on the front role center aisle seat looked around with a basilisk stare as if to see if anyone might not be standing and applauding.

Let us assume for a brief moment that both Iran and Syria would simply disappear. As the epicenters for Global Terrorism close down, what would Muslim terrorists world-wide do for support, training, safe houses, funds, and weapons? It is warmly comfortable to lazily scan the Hamas-Hezbollah-Syria-Iran-Iraqi Insurgency Axis as a disparate and discrete group of political/terrorist movements. For to otherwise view the insidious amalgam as a single coherent military and political machine would be to admit to an unthinkable and dark reality: that there currently exists a waxing nuclear capable Fourth Reichastan which is about to devastate and lay waste to the Judeo-Sunni-Christian-Buddhist-Hindu world. Such a conclusion would tear the false veneer that now exists which isolates the Iraqi, Hamas and Hezbollah insurgencies from each other and from Syria ’s and Iran ’s vital military and sovereign support of both. The grim reality is that the Hamas/ Hezbollah War and the Iraqi insurgency are two sides of the same coin that has as its fount the growing Iranian Fourth Reichastan Axis against America and the world.

THE GATHERING OF NATIONS AGAINST ISRAEL #4

I have written 4 prior articles entitled "THE GATHERING OF THE NATIONS"...each was built on prior observations in terms of the gathering of the nations from the north (as it says in the Bible) - each seemingly for their own reasons to attack Israel but, hostility was a common theme for them all. The Arab Muslims, of course, have a religion-driven hatred, based upon the Koran teachings by murderous Islamic clerics. Their interpretation is that Islam is supreme and the Jewish faith and their presence on Land they previously conquered and lost to the Jews, impinges on their testicle-driven manhood and the simple fact that they have always been low achievers throughout history - except for their permanent state of war with all others. "All Others" means Christians, Jews, all other religions and races who do not ascribe to their self-perceived superiority, hiding a much deserved inferiority complex. But, they are a scary bunch as they promise to blow up, cut heads off, torture anyone who gets in their way.
