ISLAM, THE FALSE MASK OF RELIGION

Religion, when taught and practiced with restraint and decency, is a valuable – ever irreplaceable – guide for humankind.
However, when a specific religion teaches its children to hate and kill, then it cannot be defended as a religion. Then it is a “blood/death cult”, practicing child abuse on their own children.

History is replete with confirmed accounts of nations and their particular religion being used as a reason for conquest, looting the victim society, forced conversion of the conquered society and, finally, mass extermination of all those who resist.
Some self-anointed religions are merely pagans who worship idols and gods whom their Priest Cult interprets as the wishes of their panoply of gods. The only limitations on their practices would be the creative imaginations of their Priest Cults. Human sacrifice was common then and, strangely, it last into present time.

Early reports from TV satellite feeds from the Muslim flotilla show six ships from Turkey, intending to run the naval blockade established by Israel to prevent any ships possibly carrying weapons from reaching the Hamas in Gaza. 600 mixed nationals were aboard the lead Turkish vessel, the Marmora. These so-called Islamic "activists" were intent on provoking a violent confrontation to be used in real time as a propaganda feed to the world media.

Some will recall other ships directly from Iran and Syria, flying false flags, that were intercepted by Israel bearing heavy military cargo bound for the Gaza Terrorists that comprise Hamas’ Paramilitary.

INTRODUCTION

In 1934, Harry W. Freeman, my grandfather, was already lecturing about the dangers of Hitler and Nazism. Nobody listened. The Holocaust was not prevented. Today, in 2009 there are 1.9 billion Arab & Moslem people who plan a second Holocaust against the Jews of Israel and the world. The governments and people of Europe not only acquiesce but actively aid in this genocidal plan through diplomatic and material support. The American State Department encourages the Arabs by actively striving to weaken Israel’s strategic and military superiority. Their first stage is to use the so called “peace process” to weaken Israel and strip it of its strategic territories. They are being aided by the same hypocrites and accomplices in the West who failed to aid the Jews of Europe in their darkest hour. Unfortunately, even left-wing Israelis have fallen victims to the seductive lure of peace and have begun a policy of appeasement similar to that tried with Hitler. The results will be no different.

The Arab propaganda full of slanders and libels; the media bias against Israel replete with double standards and the rewriting of history are all working to the same end: the de-legitimation of Israel. Israel is the only country considered by many to be GUILTY OF ORIGINAL SIN by virtue of its very existence. This process of de-legitimation has as its goal creating a world climate in which the DESTRUCTION of Israel is acceptable. Many in the Jewish community are either apathetic or fail to recognize this threat. Fortunately the Jews have new allies in the Evangelical Christian Community and in the Hindu community that has suffered Moslem depredations for about1400 years.

If it was just another State Department travesty, I could accept it.

After all, I’m used to the Foggy Folks doing such things as fighting President Truman over his supporting Israel’s very rebirth; concocting latter day Arafatian Fatah “good cops” to force down Israel’s throat (knowing that on the issue of a permanent Jewish Israel, Abbas’s boys totally agree with the Hamas “bad cops”); demanding that Israel itself supply weapons to Fatah--which has as much, if not more, Jewish blood on its hands than Hamas--only to see such things as yeshiva students later massacred as a result; setting up equivalency standards whereby murderer and those in pursuit are placed on the same moral plane; and so forth.

The Arabists who wield too much say at Foggy Bottom have played such games for well over a half century now.

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA’S TRIP TO THE "WEST BANK"

Barack Hussein Obama is about to make a trip of apology to Mahmoud Abbas for saying to AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) that Jerusalem should remain an undivided city. (1) The next day he flipped like a flap-jack after angry statements by Islamic "Jihadists" and, especially, from Mahmoud Abbas of the Fatah ‘Palestinians’, current President of the ‘Palestinian Authority’. Obama has more than 2 sides as does a flap-jack - otherwise known as "flipping a two-sided pancake".

Presently, Obama is going to apologize and assure Abbas (aka Abu Mazen), that he made a ‘mistake’ in speaking about Jerusalem as a "single sovereign city of the Jewish State". Obama wants to convince the Arab Muslim Palestinians that he really meant that a divided city so a ‘non-people’ could realize their dream that Jerusalem must belong only to them, to be only their capital and, therefore, legitimize the invention of a "Palestinian people of Arab extraction".

HOW SECURE ARE JEWS IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD?

One of the significant milestones in Jewish history has recently taken place. The largest Jewish community in the world today lives in Israel. Within about ten years, it is anticipated, that in Israel will live the majority of World Jewry for the first time in 2,000 years. There are two reasons for this development. First the Jewish population in Israel is growing and that of diaspora Jewry is declining all over, including in the United States.

About 20 years ago I read a book by Rabbi Meir Kahane, Z’L’, who was assasinated in New York City. The approximate title of the book was, Uncomfortable Questions for too Comfortable American Jews that deeply impressed me. It describes how we Jews have a predilection for avoiding looking at our own situation and the world that we live in realistically. It is for that reason that Jews are continuously searching for other people to help, such as those in Darfur and all the other unfortunate Hopttentots of the world, while purposely avoiding to examine the dangers and challenges confronting their own existence. We today face a serious worldwide recrudescence of anti-Semitism, the likes of which has not existed since the 1940,s. I firmly believe that we, our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren are confronted with a repeat of the tremulous year of 1938 and the subsequent tragedies that befell the Jewish people. In my opinion our only possible salvation is to strengthen the State of Israel demographically, physically, militarily, and spiritually. The Nazi Holcaust, which came almost a half century after the establishment of the modern Zionist movement, compelled the Jews to fulfill its destiny to return and found the new Jewish State. After twenty years of independence, the Jewish People, meaning principally American Jews again went to sleep. Just as Jews did not prepare to confront the enemy planning the first Holocaust, Jews are again in deep slumber as 1.5 billion Moslems are committed to carry the second Holocaust of the remaining Jews.

Psychologists claim that between 3 to 1/3 of Jews are so emotionally traumatized by centuries of persecution and discrimination that they reject their own heritage and immerse themselves instead in the culture and problems of other people, even when the latter groups vehemently reject them and pour scorn and abject hatred upon them.

On The Present Danger Facing Israel And All Jews

The entire body of the Jewish people today -- in Israel, in Europe, in America, in Australia and New Zealand, and throughout the world -- is in grave danger. Our very existence as a people and as a faith is in jeopardy. The threat to our survival has two components to it: the external siege being waged against Israel and the Jewish people throughout the world by the international jihadist movement, its sympathizers and appeasers; and the internal siege that we Jews, both in Israel and in the Diaspora, including the United States, are waging against ourselves.

We will look first at the external siege -- war that is being waged against us. It has its military, diplomatic, and ideological-propaganda aspects.

Military threat

On the "military" front (if that is the right word for the front of violence and terror) we have been under constant assault since the signing of the Oslo accords between Israel and the PLO in 1993.

During the past fourteen and a half years the Palestinian Arab terrorists have murdered over 1,800 Israelis, two thirds of them civilians. This is more than the total number of Israelis murdered by the Palestinian Arabs in the forty-four years preceding the "peace accords." Many of the killers have been members of the Palestinian Arab "police force" established with Israel 's consent in Gaza, Judea and Samaria under the Oslo accords. Indeed, Palestinian "police" have murdered three Israelis just over the past month.

For the past seven years, Israeli towns and villages near the border with Gaza have been subjected to rocket attacks; during the past two years, the city of Sderot, with a population of some 23,000, has been bombarded with rockets nearly every day. Its residents have about twenty seconds whenever a warning siren sounds to duck into a shelter. The missiles have killed some people; many more have been wounded; and thousands, including Sderot's children, have suffered shock and trauma.

Egypt, supposedly at peace with Israel, has enabled the Hamas terrorists who control Gaza to move vast amounts of armaments, money and soldiers into this territory, and to transform themselves from a guerilla force into an army able to fight Israel on nearly equal terms. The Israelis have even captured on videotape Egyptian "border guards" helping to smuggle in terrorists.

Then there are the Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon, who killed about 140 Israeli soldiers and 43 civilians in 2006, many of them with long range rockets that struck deep inside the Galilee, including Israel 's third largest city, Haifa. Hezbollah recently struck again with rockets at kibbutz Shlomi. Since the 2006 Lebanon war, Hezbollah has completely rearmed, and now has missiles that can strike at the heart of Tel Aviv.

Standing behind Hezbollah are Syria and Iran. Both of these hateful regimes make no bones about their desire to destroy Israel. Both are armed with chemical and biological weapons, missiles that can reach every inch of Israeli territory, the most advanced fighter jets, and numerous other ultramodern weapons. Both regimes are working at break-neck speed to develop nuclear weapons. This has been thoroughly documented, despite the attempts of the recent "National Intelligence Estimate" to deny this reality.

PLOTTING AGAINST JEWS

Now in the year 2006 the stench of betrayal once more rises from the plotting nations, both declared enemies and sometimes even supposed friends.

The gagging odor also comes, as it often does, from Un-Jewish Jews among us - sometimes called or descended from the ‘Erev Rav’ (those non-Jewish pagan criminals who joined Moses escaping from Egypt), now in modern times fashionably called the radical Left Liberals.

WHY AM I VERY CONCERNED?

After two weeks away from the UK and reading the New York Times and Boston Globe, I have returned to find some e mails missing and a lot of the potential provided by tragically essential warfare, squandered.

Early on it was obvious that a full-scale land offensive was necessary to find Hizballah and to flush them out. If however Israel knew what to expect, then its tactics did not use surprise and 'shock and awe' sufficiently.

There is, even in chaos, a kind of axiomatic geometry, and the changing geometry of chaos should now have deeply special meanings for Israel. For Israel, for the prime inheritor of Genesis, there are especially vital lessons to be learned from this expanding global order/disorder. In a strange and unrecognized symmetry, chaos may reveal both sense and form. How shall this meaningful sense and form now be deciphered and understood by leaders of the imperiled Jewish State?

Defending Israel In An Apocalyptic Time: Elements Of A Successful Nuclear Targeting Doctrine

There were waves of attacks against Jews in Palestine throughout the
1920.s . the Jewish population of Hebron was destroyed by Arab terrorists
in 1929. Palestine at the time was part of the British Mandate. While a
few hundred thousand Arabs lived in there in the 1930.s, it had never been
an Arab Palestinian state, and in fact had not been under any form of Arab rule since the Dark Ages.

America Embraces the Hamas Fantasy

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sent a long, rambling missive to US President George W. Bush this week. It ended on a somewhat ominous note that seemed to some Islamic scholars to constitute a declaration of war against the US. Ahmadinejad wrote, "Liberalism and Western-style democracy have not been able to help realize the ideals of humanity. Today these two concepts have failed. Those with insight can already hear the sounds of the shattering and fall of the ideology and thoughts of the liberal democratic systems."

After declaring the death of the ideals on which the United States is founded, Ahmadinejad explained that "people around the world are flocking towards a main focal point - that is Almighty God." He then challenged Bush, "Do you not want to join them?"

Stephen Walt's War with Israel

Harvard Professor Stephen Walt and University of Chicago Professor John Mearsheimer have just published a lengthy diatribe against what they call the “Israel lobby.” Their article appeared in the London Review of Books, and a longer version has been released as a Harvard Kennedy School working paper. The two professors are employed by prestigious universities. But their new paper, a collection of innuendo, half truths, and outright misrepresentations, fails the test of academic integrity and honest research.

It is a work without a trace of balance, in essence no more than an angry polemic disguised as academic research. “The Israel Lobby” is a long, bitter, op-ed piece given a patina of respectability because of where the authors are employed. They may feel themselves protected from criticism by tenure and their titles. They live and work in the proverbial ivory towers of an academic environment that has become an Arab-subsidized lobby against Israel.

DOUBLE STANDARD FOR ISRAEL IN MEDIA & POLITICS

A few years back during this trying time of the year in the Daytona Beach area of Florida, I penned an article ("Makos, Kristof, and Bike Week") which focused on the hypocrisy and double standards the liberal, left wing press habitually practices towards the Jew of the Nations. Not that I'm in love with extreme right kooks either, but the former have become more of a problem of late than the latter since respected circles--such as those in academia--tend to give them more credibility. Coming right after the world famous Daytona 500 NASCAR race in this town, and just before most of the college spring breakers arrive, Bike Week brings with it scores of thousands of motor cyclists from all over the world...and the traffic snarls and noise that accompany them as well...Lovely.

While I'm sure it has nothing to do with the bikers' thunder, The New York Times' syndicated columnist Nicholas Kristof seems to vent some of his own particularly hot air around this season as well. A few years back (late February 2004), for example, he wrote a piece about double standards which appeared in our local news version of the problem being described here in which he complained about Israel's security fence, Arabs allegedly being given no alternatives (to their barbarity), and such. The paper's editors typically spout the same lines, and this prompted my own response mentioned above.

The following cogent explanation for Israel to have a Nuclear Deterrence is measured and reasonable. However, there is another side to this problem which should be aired to both the public and the American Congress. Israel has from the onset (1947-48) had dedicated enemies who simply didn’t want Israel to come into existence as a homeland for the Jews. The Arabs made it plain that they would occupy and destroy the Jewish State. They made every attempt to do so but, were unsuccessful.

On January 27, 2006, the United Nations General Assembly was filled with more than a thousand Jews who were there to mark the UN's first annual "International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust." Only a month earlier, the same hall had been filled with UN member states repeatedly demonizing the Jewish state. What is going on?

One answer would run something like this: the Secretary-General bought himself and his organization some good will at very little cost; Israel's foreign ministry brought home a deliverable product in contrast to the empty hands most other days of the year; the naïve and neglected victims of anti-semitism enjoyed warm feelings about being appreciated and recognized on a global scale.

Armed with rifles, the terrorists demanded an official apology from the Danish government for caricatures of Muhammad published in a Danish newspaper last September. At the same time as the EU offices were commandeered, another group of terrorists in Gaza issued an ultimatum: Either Denmark and the EU issue formal apologies for the publication of the cartoons by nightfall, or the terrorists will begin kidnapping Europeans in Gaza.

Well, my earlier prediction was that the erection of an armed Hamas state

Thursday morning we awoke to a new reality: Hamas is the official leader of the Palestinian Authority and — thanks to the US and Israeli governments — the official representative of Arab Jerusalemites. The decision to award the Palestinian film Paradise Now the Golden Globes Award for best foreign film tells us that Palestinian terror against Israelis has become so acceptable that it is now Hollywood kitsch. The sight of the Jewish American diva Sarah Jessica Parker, of Sex in the City fame, excitedly announcing that a film which glorifies the mass murder of Jews in Israel was the big winner for 2005 only served to demonstrate how deep this trivialization of evil now runs.

AFTER SHARON

Wednesday night ushered in a new era in Israel's political history. As we watch and worry as Prime Minister Ariel Sharon dangles between life and death, one thing is absolutely clear. Sharon's massive cerebral hemorrhage on Wednesday night spelled the end of his political career. Sharon will never return to lead the State of Israel. He will never make a full recovery.
Whatever one's views of Sharon's policies and the quality of his leadership, no Israeli can feel anything but sorrow at Sharon's abrupt demise. A nation's sudden and dramatic separation from its leader is never a good thing. It! is all the more debilitating when the leader in question is as popular and powerful as Sharon.
