[Freeman Center Note: Considering the Jewish historical experience with weakness, ALL Jews (and, of course, Israelis) should be armed and able to defend themselves. Any attempt by the government to disarm Jews should be resisted by force. Better to die a
free man than to live as a slave. Any attempt by the U.S, Europe or the UN to limit Israeli military freedom of action should be prevented!...Bernard]

"But what a change in life upon arriving in America - Free America. Here I suddenly found myself unbridled, the air free, no stifling, atmosphere - I could give free expression to the cravings of my soul! Life began to have a different meaning. What a blessing to have free assemblage, free speech free press! Can an American who has always enjoyed these blessings appreciate what it means to one who was deprived of them until manhood.?"............Harry W. Freeman (1907)

HARRY W. FREEMAN'S DAUGHTER
ROWENA FREEMAN GOLDFADEN DIES]
SHE IS NOW IN HEAVEN WITH HASHEM
Rowena Freeman Goldfaden was the youngest daughter of
Harry W. Freeman. (My grandfather and honored namesake of the Freeman Center For Strategic Studies
I was named after her brother Bernard Freeman (Who died very young) and her sister was my mother, Celia Freeman Shapiro (Who died about 20 years ago.)
YOU CAN PRAY FOR HER UNDER THE FOLLOWING HEBREW NAME:
ROWENA FREEMAN BAT SARAH AND ABRAHAM
(HARRY W. FREEMAN HACOHEN BEN AARON)
Rowena was beloved by everyone who knew her, Family and friends. I want to tell you about things few people know about her.
Rowena was an indispensable link between me and my grandfather. Harry died in 1959 and I was only 18 years old.
He was my inspiration in many ways. He taught me to love books, write poetry, short stories, history and love music, and chess. Most of all I thank him for teaching me to value our people, Am Yisrael's unique role in history -- and to learn its lessons. It was fitting that the Freeman Center For Strategic Studies was named after him.
In 1934, Freeman was already lecturing about the dangers of Hitler and Nazism. Nobody listened. The Holocaust was not prevented. Today, in 2010, there are 2 billion (2,000,000,000) Arab & Moslem people who plan a Second Holocaust against the Jews of Israel. They are being aided by the same hypocrites and accomplices in the West who failed to aid the Jews of Europe in their darkest hour.
Rowena aided me in researching the writings of her father. She found all his historical and legal writings. Plus his correspondence with many of the great minds of his time, like Supreme Court Justice, William O. Douglas. She talked to me about her experiences with him. Because he died so young in my life I never could have mastered the thinking of his brilliant mind without the help of Rowena. In 1990 I put together a book by hand, cut and past (no computers yet). It had hundreds of pages of archives that would have been lost without Rowena aiding me.
The book has never been published. I just made copies for the family. I did not have the money to publish it. I showed it to several legal and constitutional scholars and they admited he was 50 years ahead of his time in legal analsis.
I know her family may have many ideas for donations in her honor. I would never try to change their minds. But for me and Freeman Center Supporters, I would like to Honor Rowena by publishing this book she helped me write. I know her kids and grandchildren and great grandchildren are a great achievievment. What she did for me beside loving me, was to encourage me to found the Freeman Center and make my voice heard to protect the Jewish People and Israel....Bernard
