Ariel Sharon
Ariel Sharon is the Prime Minister of Israel and the leader of Israel's Likud party. He has
formerly served as Foreign Minister, National Infrastructure Minister, Housing Minister, Defence Minister and Agriculture Minister. A former Major General, he led Israel's daring crossing of the Suez Canal that surrounded and defeated the Egyptian army in the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
